L&T has published a press release concerning the increasing popularity of composting.
During the last year L&T almost doubled its sales of compostors and the demand from the Russian export market was strong.
Composting gains in popularity as consumers become more environmentally aware and conscious of protecting the environment. Also information on composting is easily available nowadays. Nearly half of Finnish households sort biowaste into a separate container and every fourth of them composts it.
