As a part of L&T’s operational development, the certification of the company’s waste management and recycling services has been completed. As a result, the business units of the company’s Environmental Services Division have been granted certifications to cover quality, environment and occupational health and safety.
The purpose of these certifications has been to ascertain that unified and distinct modes of operation are observed in the different business units.
- In my opinion, this is a natural step in our long-term work focused on enhancing our professional approach to serve our environmental management customers. These certifications create a sound base for continued development of our operations, says Arto Nivalainen, Vice President at L&T.
The audits were carried out by Bureau Veritas Certification.
