Efforts are being taken to raise environmental competence among cleaning staff to a new level. L&T has launched an extensive training programme designed to further enhance environmental awareness of all staff involved in cleaning work.
L&T aims at reaching a status where its competent cleaning staff would be increasingly able to participate in developing customer locations to become more environmentally friendly. The three-level training also includes waste sorting and recycling.
L&T’s training programme focusing on environmental competence enhancement among cleaning professionals started in the autumn of last year. The company aims at having some 80 percent of its supervisors and the majority of its cleaners pass the training programme in the course of next year.
