Sorted paper, carton, glass and small metal will end up being collected by one and the same waste truck. L&T will be the first service provider in Finland to introduce a four-compartment waste truck in the city of Turku, which will make it possible to empty four waste fractions at the same time.
The truck’s compartment structure prevents the different types of sorted waste from merging. So far, waste sorted for recycling has been mainly picked up at properties using separate transports.
