L&T is withdrawing from its business operations in Norway offering food industry hygiene services. The business operations will be acquired by the Norwegian company Borg Systemvask. The business acquisition has taken force as of January 1, 2009.
L&T employs some 20 persons in Norway. The company has been operative in Norway since the beginning of 2007. At that time, L&T expanded its business operations to Sweden by way of a business acquisition, which also involved food industry customers operating in Norway. Since L&T does not have any plans to expand its operations in Norway, withdrawal is a natural solution.
