Lassila & Tikanoja has acquired the Swedish company Skånsk Allservice AB including subsidiaries Hygienutveckling AB and Hygienutvikling A/S operating in Norway. In 2006, the total net sales of the Skånsk Allservice group amounted to some 10 million Euro, more than majority of which was comprised of hygiene services for the food industry. The companies employ a total of some 300 persons. The acquisitions have taken force today.
Hygienutveckling AB is specialising in food industry hygiene services and cleaning services. The company’s largest customer is the Swedish Meats group. Hygienutvikling A/S is working within the same sector in Norway. Skånsk Allservice AB is mainly focusing on cleaning office and public facilities in the Skåne region.
L&T’s professional competence will be significantly supplementing the offerings of Skånsk Allservice and their subsidiaries.

Our international customer base appreciates the option to centralise their outsourced services to one partner covering the Baltic Sea area. Our food industry service concepts will ascertain a hygienic and efficient production process supported by diverse property, recycling and waste management services, says Jari Sarjo, President and CEO of L&T.
As a result of the acquisition, Skånsk Allservice AB will be merged into L&T’s Swedish company. L&T Hygienutveckling AB and L&T Hygienutvikling A/S will continue their operations as autonomous companies within the L&T Group. Maria Rosengren will continue in her position as Managing Director.

Based on their strategy, L&T is targeting for strong growth within the Baltic Sea area by way of organic growth and business acquisitions.
– Having acquired ASP AB in January and Accent in October, we have been active in the Swedish property services market since early 2006. L&T is presently employing almost 1,000 persons in Sweden. As a result of this acquisition, L&T will be the third largest service provider in Sweden based on net sales, says Jari Sarjo.
