Elisa Corporation and Lassila & Tikanoja plc (L&T) have entered into an agreement to cover property and user services for all Elisa Corporation premises. This extensive agreement covers Elisa’s property and user services in all corporate office and telecom premises as well as shop locations. The properties are located mainly in the Helsinki area and in Tampere. This cooperation started on January 1, 2006. The agreement duration is 4 years.
The property and user services to be provided to Elisa by L&T comprise cleaning, mail handling and reception services along with property maintenance, technical systems management and different related administrative services. L&T’s cooperation partners Securitas and Finland Post Group will provide the reception and mail handling services contained in the agreement.
The agreement involves an exceptionally extensive cooperation in the field of property administration. ”In cooperation with Elisa, we are establishing a new type of comprehensive solution to combine Elisa’s office premises administration and L&T’s property and user services. Office premises management remains with Elisa, while office support services administration transfers to L&T”, says Jari Sarjo, President and CEO of L&T.
As a result of the agreement, part of Elisa’s property services staff transfers to L&T as old employees by way of business acquisition. L&T will later assume responsibility for establishing customer requirements, planning of location and service solutions and reporting”, says Elisa’s Arto Ahonen, Vice President, Real Estate Services. ”Using one comprehensive services provider is a natural choice for Elisa. The extensive agreement provides the necessary conditions for continued development and flexible services as required by Elisa’s business operations.”
L&T is targeting to improve their readiness to fulfil the requirements of domestic as well as foreign customers. ”Thanks to the agreement, with L&T taking care of all office premises administration related work in addition to providing property and user services in a cost-effective and comprehensive way, Elisa can concentrate on their core competencies”, says Jukkapekka Porali, Customer Accounts Director at L&T.
