Lassila & Tikanoja acquires cleaning company 99 Perfekts, operating in Latvia. The acquisition is subject to approval by the Latvian Competition Authority.
The annual net sales of the company were approximately 1, 6 M € in 2004. The company employs about 300 professionals. The company’s clientele consists of Latvian and foreign companies operating in Riga and largest Latvian cities.
”The acquisition strengthens L&T’s Property Services in Latvia” says L&T Vice President Anna-Maija Apajalahti. ”We started offering cleaning services in Latvia specially based on the demand of L&T’s Finnish clients operating in Latvia also. Since then the demand for these services has increased. Currently we are applying for the ISO 9001:2000 Quality Certificate for our Property Services in Latvia.”
L&T’s strategy is to expand operations abroad, mainly in the countries surrounding the Baltic Sea and in selected areas in Russia.
