Lassila & Tikanoja has acquired the business operations of Alfa Clean, a cleaning company operating in Moscow. The acquisition supports L&T’s strategy to invest in the growing markets of Finland’s neighbouring areas.
The annual net sales of Alfa Clean are around EUR 1.5 million and it employs 450 people. Its clientele consists of Russian and western companies. The acquisition will be effective from 1 April 2005.
In the next few years, the emphasis of Lassila & Tikanoja’s strategy will be in investments in recycling plants and expanding operations abroad. In the future, L&T will be aiming for a leading position in its operating sectors in the Baltic states and selected areas in Russia.
