Lassila & Tikanoja and Finnish Road Enterprise have agreed on a joint venture called Salvor Oy specialising in treatment services of industrial by-products, soil remediation and construction of landfill barrier systems. Each party owns 50% of the shares of Salvor. The Finnish Competition Authority has approved the arrangement. The company has started its operations.
Salvor has signed agreements on acquisition of the soil remediation and groundwater protection business operations of Lohja Rudus Ympäristöteknologia Oy Ab and the business operations of the Environmental Services Unit of Finnish Road Enterprise.
The operations of Salvor will cover whole Finland. Estimated net sales for the first operative year are EUR 8 to 9 million. In the future, Salvor will expand its operations to the Baltic region
