As of 1 December 2009, Tomi Salo has been appointed Managing Director of L&T Biowatti Oy and Group Executive of Lassila & Tikanoja plc. Salo is responsible for the Renewable Energy Sources division and he reports to Jari Sarjo, President and CEO.
Kari Lahti, the present Managing Director of L&T Biowatti Oy, continues as member of the Board of Directors of L&T Biowatti Oy.
Tomi Salo, M.Sc. (Agr. & For.), age 34, has been Director of Forestry Services in L&T Biowatti Oy since 1 November 2008 and Wood Procurement Director between 17 January and 31 October 2008.
