LASSILA & TIKANOJA STARTS CLEANING SERVICES OPERATIONS IN SWEDEN
Lassila & Tikanoja has acquired Allied Service Partners AB (ASP), a company specialising in property maintenance services. ASP operates in Stockholm and Gothenburg. The net sales of ASP were SEK 84 million in 2004, and it employs 390 people. All employees will transfer into L&T’s service. The acquisition becomes effective today.
ASP is one of the leading Swedish providers of cleaning services, and has been granted quality and environmental certifications. In addition to cleaning services, ASP provides property and office support services. ASP’s clientele consists of both public corporations and private businesses. In Sweden the municipal sector has outsourced support services at a faster pace than in Finland.
Mr. Tapio Keränen, M.Sc. (Econ.), will be responsible for L&T’s business operations in Sweden as Managing Director.
According to its strategy, L&T aims at strong growth in the Baltic region through organic growth and acquisitions.
